Meet Our Staff
Earlier Jerry farmed with his family in south central Kansas. Later he worked with the Kansas Rural Center for two decades with sustainable agriculture. Jerry is a trained mediator. He has worked with KLT since 2008.
Avery received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas, and is currently a graduate student in the Urban Planning Program at KU. She is a member of the Kansas Native Plant Society and has volunteered with Friends of the Kaw and Operation Wildlife.
Amy has a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas, where she spent time as a research assistant at the Kansas Biological Survey, working mostly with native plants. She holds multiple volunteer positions with the Boy Scouting community in Douglas County and is passionate about youth environmental outreach. She has been with KLT since 2016.
