Join us for a winter walk at Buck Creek! This free, guided walk is located on KLT-protected property in Jefferson County. This land is accessible for seasonal hiking and hunting only by permission from the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism.

Our guides, Rex Buchanan (Director Emeritus of Kansas Geological Survey), Lucas DeCicco (Curator of Ornithology at the KU Biodiversity Institute) and Patti Beedles (KLT Conservation Coordinator) will take us through time and space as we explore and observe the exposed cliff face along the rocky edge of Buck Creek.
